About Me
Welcome to my website, an opportunity for me to share some of my professional journalistic work and the stories I've gotten to tell along the way. I aim to create a better understanding of the world and the people living in it.
I chose journalism because I've always been curious and knew sitting at a desk from 9-5 was not what I wanted for my future. I really wanted a job that allowed me to be creative, but I wanted to be around people. Being a reporter lets me meet new people every day who let me tell their stories.

As a journalism major I took several multi-media classes that apply to every day journalism tasks, including writing for broadcast and element editing courses.
I cut my teeth at WFUV, which is 90.7 FM on the dial, and did some award winning reporting that was impactful for the community.
I expanded outside of my major in order to gain experience in web design, blogging, and performing for broadcast media.
